A week of Tender Mercies

5.11.15

Hello Everyone!

What a wonderful week we had! We had lots of lessons, a conference where we learned lots, a mother’s day being able to talk to family and... a baptism!:) The week couldn't have been much better. Being able to see the family was wonderful because it has already been more than 4 months since I have seen them. I can’t believe I have been out that long already, the time has gone by so fast. I have learned so much already and continue to learn so much everyday still. Especially when we have one of the conferences we had this week! Being able to hear from our leaders here in the mission, especially our mission president helps get me excited about the work again! I love this gospel and love to continue to spread it.

Yes we had our first baptism and what a beautiful service it was! She invited friends and families and from that we will hopefully be teaching her daughter and granddaughter soon. We had such a full week that it didn't even go by slow. I thought the week was going to go by so slow because I was so excited to Skype but it went by super-fast because we had so many things to put together for this baptism but it turned out to be such a great service. This week we are helping one of our investigators put together a wedding for Saturday so they can be baptized in a couple of weeks. I have been so blessed to further the work here in Elkins because we keep so busy with all the people who are interested in learning more about the church.

I hope everyone else had a great week as I did and celebrated mothers yesterday too! I love my mom and all the other wonderful women in my life who have made a difference! Keep up the great work at home and I will talk to you again soon:)
