I'll go where you want me to go

12.7.15

Hey Yall!

Well Christmas is REALLY in the air now! I cannot believe how quick it really came and is still coming! We had a kind of slower week which I am not complaining about because of the last few crazy weeks we have had and the one that we have upcoming. This week we have 2 meetings at the stake center which will be kind of hard and time consuming because it is like a 6 hour meeting and then we come back to our area for like 3 hours and then travel back and it is about 30ish miles there give or take a few. But in that 3 hours I know that we are going to find miracles because when we do hard things we see miracles.

Being out on my mission I have really come to know my Savior and who he is. I have seen people change because they came to know and have a relationship with their Savior. We found out just a few days ago that one of the elders that we have been working close with for a little while has decided that we wants to go home and it is super sad but at the same time we have seen a huge change in him since we have had the opportunity to work closely with him. But I know that the relationship that he has gained with the savior out here in the mission field will bless his life and he will be able to go home and bless others’ lives.

Our friend that got baptized about a week and a half ago is doing awesome and is working on getting lots of names that he can take from his family to the temple. Also this week we started teaching his mom and because of the spirit of Elijah and that working between her and her son we have seen her heart soften to the gospel so much and are excited to see her move forward in her eternal progression.

I hope you all have a great upcoming week! The week after this coming week is transfers and I am freaking out a little because I have been her for 6 months like I was in my last area for 6 months. Meaning that I would get transferred a week before Christmas. But the Lord knows where he need us best! I love and miss you all and hope that you are feeling this Christmas spirit like I am!

Love Sister Mauck
